Our Mission

Preserving and sharing the rich cultural heritage of Puerto Rico

Founded in 2015, Boricua Heritage Foundation is dedicated to preserving, celebrating, and sharing the vibrant culture of Puerto Rico with the world. Our team of cultural experts, artists, and educators works tirelessly to document traditions, promote Puerto Rican arts, and create educational resources for future generations.

Founder & Director

Cultural historian with over 15 years of experience in preserving Puerto Rican traditions. Carlos founded Boricua Heritage to create a lasting legacy of cultural appreciation.

Former professor of Caribbean Studies, Maria develops educational programs and curricula that bring Puerto Rican culture into classrooms across the country.

Arts Director

2015

Foundation Established

Boricua Heritage was founded in San Juan with the mission of preserving Puerto Rican cultural traditions.

2017

Hurricane Maria Response

Following Hurricane Maria, we launched initiatives to preserve cultural artifacts and support local artisans affected by the disaster.

2020

Digital Expansion

Launched our comprehensive online platform to make Puerto Rican cultural resources accessible worldwide.
